Process

We look before we sell you anything.

You should be able to tell, before signing anything, what happens in week one, what you receive at the end of each stage, and what we need from you. This is that, written down.

The engagement

What each stage actually involves.

Scale is last on purpose. Increasing spend on a system whose economics have not been proven is the most reliable way we know to lose money quickly.

  1. Stage 01

    Discover

Around a week, depending on how quickly access and answers arrive.

Understand the business before offering an opinion about it.

    • How the business makes money — margin, average value, repeat behavior
    • Who the buyer is, and how they actually decide
    • The current customer journey, end to end, including what happens after the inquiry
    • What has already been tried, and what happened
    • Constraints: capacity, budget, regulation, internal capability

    You receive
A written account of the business model and customer journey that you agree is accurate.

  2. Stage 02

    Diagnose

One to two weeks. Longer where tracking has to be repaired before anything is readable.

Find the bottleneck rather than the symptom.

    • Stage-by-stage measurement: qualified traffic, conversion, contact rate, close rate
    • Technical and analytics review — is the data even trustworthy
    • Channel economics against what a customer is actually worth
    • The gap between inquiry and conversation, which is usually unowned

    You receive
A named bottleneck, the evidence for it, and an honest statement of what we could not determine.

  3. Stage 03

    Plan

    One week.

Decide what to do, in what order, measured against what.

    • Priorities sequenced by impact and by dependency
    • Channel and budget allocation against a defined cost ceiling
    • A written definition for every number we report, including what each one excludes
    • Named owners on both sides, and the tests queued behind the first wave

    You receive
A roadmap you could hand to another agency and they would understand it.

  4. Stage 04

    Build & Launch

Two to six weeks, depending on how much is being rebuilt rather than adjusted.

Ship the thing, properly, with the measurement working before it goes live.

    • Campaigns, pages, content, tracking, CRM workflows and automation
    • QA across devices, accessibility and performance
    • Tracking verified end to end before spend starts, not after
    • Handover documentation written as it is built

    You receive
A working system in your accounts, under your ownership.

  5. Stage 05

    Optimize

Ongoing. Individual tests read in two to six weeks, depending on your volume.

Improve against the definitions agreed in Plan, not against whatever looks good.

    • Weekly review of efficiency, quality and creative fatigue
    • Structured tests against one decision point at a time
    • A written log of what was tested and what was learned
    • Plain reporting, including the things that are not working

    You receive
Compounding improvement, and a record of why each change was made.

  6. Stage 06

    Scale

Once, and only once, the previous stage has produced stable economics.

Increase investment only where the economics already hold.

    • Identify the segments that stay profitable at higher spend
    • Increase capacity before increasing demand, not after
    • Extend to adjacent channels against the same definitions
    • Protect quality — the first thing that breaks under scale

    You receive
Growth that does not degrade as it gets bigger.

Who owns what

Engagements fail on inputs more often than on execution.

Both columns are agreed before the work starts. If the right-hand one is not realistic for you right now, that is worth knowing before either of us commits.

We are accountable for

  • Diagnosis, strategy and the written roadmap
  • Execution across the agreed channels and systems
  • Measurement definitions and honest reporting against them
  • Documentation and handover of everything we build

We need from you

  • Access to accounts, data and the people who know the business
  • A named decision-maker who can approve within the agreed window
  • Sales-side input on what a qualified lead actually is
  • Capacity to handle the demand the work generates

Next step

Start at stage two.

The growth diagnostic is the Diagnose stage, run standalone. You get the named bottleneck and the evidence for it, and you keep the findings whether or not you continue.
